Would the coaches poll be enough to offset the BCS "objective" computer rankings to avoid such rematch?

I agree it is not fair for BAMA to be given another shot.

The sexy game for tv ratings will be heisman hopeful luck and Stanford to play lsu. Stanford will be favored by the media because of their bias aginst lsu and their love of luck.
Osu may deserve to play because of strength of schedule but it would be Stanford.
Osu gets no respect because of the media love of ou.
Lsu plays second fiddle to bama with the media.
I don't see that happening. If Stanford wins out they will play in the bcsnc. The dollars will dictate them over osu. More tv sets on the west coast will be tuned in to a Stanford game than an osu game.

I don't think there will be a rematch, and zero chance if someone from a BCS conference is undefeated. I want Boise State so they can get spanked, I can't stand hearing how the "little guy" never gets a chance.

I say absolutely NOT! like many of you have already posted, they do not deserve it b/c they were #2 & lost at home! If it were #1 LSU that lost by 3 in OT on the road at #2 & Ok. St. & Stanford lost 1 game b/w now & then, I def. think LSU would deserve a chance to pay for the NC. BUT, LSU won, so now we only have to worry about our remaining schedule.

As great a game as it was and despite the fact I think Bama is right there at the top with LSU, I say no way to a rematch. I dont think a team that isnt conference champ should play for the title under the current system. Id much rather a plus one, which Bama should be part of if there was a 4 teams playoff.

I said it years ago when everyone was saying OSU and UM were clearly the two best teams. Have to stick to wath I said.

Rematch doesn't make sense. I won't rehash what everyone has said here, essentially, it's b/c it's the #2 team losing at home.

I found it interesting that Stanford was #2 in the Coaches Poll and not Okie State.

Of the one-loss teams, OU may have a chance if they win out. It was sad to see Broyles go down like that yesterday. I hate to see athletes suffer serious injuries.

It truly wouldn't be fair to LSU if we lost to Bama in another game, it would basically be a tie 1-1 for the season. It would also reward Alabama even though they lost at home.
