Will be most interesting to see if they would give Boise State a shot over Bama. And I really don't know how that would work itself out. Boise State has no resume and Bama already lost to us at home. Oklahoma with 1 loss, should they beat Okie State, could be a possibility and I think one that they would put over Bama. With Broyles out with an ACL, they have no shot to beat us.
I don't wanna play Bama again, they had their shot. I haven't looked at their schedule but I know they have Auburn left. Hopefully it is in Auburn and I am hoping AU beats Bama. Anything is possible especially like others have pointed out. Nick Saban usually has a game or two a year where they either don't show up or are sleep walking, example this year, @ Tennessee, we didn't face the same team tonight that played @ UT.
I don't know about that. OU was a 4 TD favorite at home against an un-ranked TT team, and lost. Bama was a 4.5-5.5 favorite at home against the consensus #1 team in the country, and lost by 3 in OT. Assuming both teams win out, the only reason that OU may have over 'Bama that is compelling is winning their conference. Will that be enough? Personally, I think that if Stanford and Okie St. lose, while Bama wins out, Bama should get it. Why don't I want to face them again? Simple, because they have the best chance of beating us of all the schools out there. We beat them once, let's move on to someone else. That is the best outcome for us.
I want an LSU v. LSU National Championship Game. That's Louisiana State University v. Leland Stanford University. If we can't get USuCk (and we can't) let's beat on some trees and see what nuts fall out.
Regardless of OT, by 3 points, or any other argument someone wants to throw out there... Bama does not deserve a rematch. They lost at home, we win out they don't go to the SECCG... had LSU lost I'd be saying the same thing. But they'll fall to 4 in the BCS, as mentioned by the commentators they won't put Boise ahead of Bama... My hope is Okie St or Stanford wins out.
Man I don't know. Not too big of a chance I think. The only thing I know for sure is that I will be rooting for Stanford and Oka St to go unbeaten for the next few weeks.
Same here. As sick as I am of hearing of Luck, I will be his biggest fan until they get beaten. I thought that the Sooners would definitely beat state, but after the injury, I'm not so sure. Ryan Broyles was one of their biggest weapons. It sux to see any player 'out for the season'.
I hate Oklahoma and Stoops but that was tough to watch. I really felt sorry for Broyles. I still think the Sooners will beat OSU. The Cowboys don't believe in playing in playing defense and that will kill them.
Darth,.. I thought you were a budding Duck fan. Oregon will have a tough task at Stanford, although the Cardinal had 3 key injuries while playing with the beavers today.
this is what i'd like to see. BUT, if the ncg is truly a game between the two best teams in the country, you'd have to keep bama in the mix, imo.
