McKnight and Tolliver are the most up in the air with McKnight being even more so. A lot of people think Tolliver will still end up at LSU, even after all this hoopla with he and Florida. But with McKnight, there are lot of questions...
McKnight is more than 50-50...He's really thinking about staying close to home very hard. He likes Ole Miss, cause he'd have his Best Friend with him...who's already a Ole Miss committment. He's more of a 70-30 LSU-Ole Miss right now...USC is great, but too far from freinds and family...
Toliver and another highly rated receiver both had florida/lsu as their top two. Is Florida going to get both? Damn their NC.
Throughout the process most LSU insiders thought he was LSU's, but since the Army All American game, things have gotten less clear. Florida has been doing a pretty good job with recruiting him & is telling him that we lied about the number of WRs we were going to take (because of Brooks). They may have even sold their system better too, because Toliver has said he thought he would fit in better there & catch more balls. I completely disagree, but that is besides the point. I think he is genuinely torn, but will end up a Tiger.
I've read this before and it makes some sense. But, at the end of the day, it's still Ole Miss and I still think it's a LSU- USC battle. There is now way the top (or #2) player in the nation goes to such an unknown school like Ole Miss and such a highly criticized game day coach like Orgeron...Just can't see it happening. It reminds me of Perrilloux saying Miss. State had a legitimate shot, but Joe Mac seems genuinely more interested in Ole miss than Perrilloux had with Miss State.
If Tolliver is looking to catch some balls in college, he will pick Flynn/Perilloux over Tebow. A quarterback that mostly runs between the tackles is not what a top receiver needs. Tolliver to LSU.
