I have never eaten Japanese food, mainly because I have no idea what to order. A few months ago I some some place opened up ane the sign said Poke Burrito Bowls so I thought it was a Mexican place
Lol. I know a lot of people won't try sushi rolls or poke' bowls out of fear of eating raw fish. But there are plenty of rolls which are made with fully cooked ingredients. I was in the same boat for a while. I never wanted to try it, then I started getting all cooked, and finally my girlfriend got me to try some raw tuna. Been eating it for the passed 12 years. Glad I she made me try it.
Meatball poboy from Pocarello's. I hadn't had one in years. Bonus. They had Abita root beer. Not many place sell it.
Soup. The other day I made some okra and tomatoes with onions and garlic. Made way too much so I didn't think I would ever eat it all. I threw it all in a pot with some mixed veggies, chicken broth and tomato sauce and simmered it until the veggies were cooked. Turned out pretty good. So now I have too much soup to eat soon. I'll put it in the freezer where it may just stay forever.
