    I love Mayonnaise...you know, it's a French word and the pronunciation "My-nez" is more proper since it's close to the actual French pronunciation.

    By that logic, it should be "Hollandez" too.

    Anyway, I like to whip in some granulated garlic, Worcestershire, and hot sauce in mine.

    I do that, It's like a baked potato with sour cream...but with less tang.

    ive heard of mustard on fries, but never mayo.

    i prefer ketchup.

    great, now im craving mcdonalds fries.

    Here goes some of my useless knowledge. In Belgium which is arguably the birthplace of fried potatoes are nuts about using Mayo instead of other condiments. :grin:

    One time when I was out of ketchup I mixed mayo and mustard together to dip my fries in. It was pretty good

    add a bit of honey to it and you have honey mustard

    I always used a ratio of 2:1:1 mayo, mustard, and honey. a dash of rice wine vinegar gives it a little tang.

    I'll have to try that with the honey and wine vinegar. Another good one is what I call a quickie remoulade sauce. Mix mayo with a generous dollop of ketchup and a clove or two of crushed garlic. Good for a variety of things

    I can do this combination, but not just straight mayo.
