As long as it has bacon in it its worth the risk. One time I was at Jerry Lee's getting some boudin and the guy at the counter in front of me was buying a huge order of boudin and cracklins. When the girl at the register asked him was there anything else he needed he said "I'll take a triple bypass with that order." Everybody in the store broke up.

I ate horse once. I was in south Florida and ate at my Cuban friend's mother's house. She was working with some meat like she was pulling pork but it was really horsemeat. Was pretty good with black beans and rice. Tasted kind if like pork.

Jerry Lee does real good with his business there.

Years ago a so call beef was being imported by a number of major stores, it was frozen in blocks. Turned out to be horse meat.

Homemade pimento cheese sandwiches and Campbells Tomato Soup. And no, I'm not sick. The soup goes good with the sandwiches.

Got vetoed, turned into grilled cheese and tomato soup.

Another of my specialties. I don't just smear butter on a grilled cheese, I melt it and paint it onto the bread with a brush, it is much much better that way.

    One of my favorite combinations.

The butter melts instantly when it hits the pan, Miss Fussypants.
