For me there is no doubt the Tigers are what it is all about. I would not trade one LSU NC for 20 Saint superbowl wins, and that is a fact!
I live lsu football. I watch saints football. I will not miss an lsu game unless it's gonna cost me my job. I will watch every play intensly and rewatch the lsu game several times. I will watch the saints every time I can but I won't die if I miss it. I feel like I missed out on a little part of life, a part I can never get back, if I miss an lsu game. I am a saints fan. I am fanatic about lsu football.
I grew up in New Orleans and was in the stadium for the very 1st Saints game in 67. I didn't become an LSU fan till I went to college there (no Tiger alums in my family). So, for football, the Saints have the edge. Of course LSU has so many other sports that I can be a Tiger fan all year long. And with both football teams doing great .... I look forward to both Saturday and Sunday.
Prior to Katrina I would say LSU by a land slide. Since the storm there has been a renewed interest in the Saints. Also, with the Super Bowl win, a lot of additional fans have emerged.
I am a college football fan so to me it is LSU. I really like all college sports better. Growing up I pulled for the Saints but was really a Dolphin fan and only recently (since shula and marino retired) have been a real die hard Saints fan. I never seem to be as down when the saints lose like I am when the Tigers do.:helmet:
