I already won that point. As long as we beat Va Tech (in 2007) with everything else staying the same, we are in the BCSCG. It was the 2nd game of the season. By the end, all anyone but LSU fans knew, or cared about, was that LSU won that game.
If yall beat us on Saturday you should be at least #2, and Boise State should drop to 15th or worse, why? Because they dont belong at 5. Stick Boise State in the SEC for a year and then rank em! I think Bama will fall hard this year. Who has tested them. I say bring on some heat and watch them fall. Im rambling. If yall lose on Sat. you should still be in the top 5, and Boise st should not.
W/L records nonwithstanding, I always wondered why teams dropped after losing to a higher-ranked team. Isn't that what ranking is all about? Who would beat who in a theoretical matchup? If Florida is theoretcally the best team in the country and LSU is theoretically the fourth-best team in the country, why would that change if Florida beat LSU? Isn't that EXACTLY what's expected, according to the rankings? Just some deep thoughts by Attack Tiger.

A 1 point win vs a 40 point win. No I don't think so. Replace that with a 1 point win and it's anybody's guess who they would have chosen. The reason LSU's name kept popping up during discussion that week was because of the way we mauled VTech. Style points matter, old master and resident golf pro.
I think its great. By the way, would Urban do all he's done if any other "non-star" Gator starter had to go to the hospital? I doubt it. I hope he would. If I was another Gator and saw the hand holding it would irritate me.

When it comes to The Gators, I love em. But weve got to be humans first with common sense. I think you all are great as well even though I hope there will be a "w" in our column on saturday night. This is a real class act forum with smart fans. I wish I could say as much for the forums out there. I just will feel bad when you are all sad after the game while Im a happy Gator

Oh yeah, dont get me started on some of the FSU fans. I really like Bobby Bowden though. Great guy and great coach. I get accused of being a troll when Iam friendly with other teams as though I have some alterior motive. The Tennessee fans were nasty rude to me when I was trying to talk football the week before the game. They kept saying, "Just wait, hell start talking smack soon. He's a troll" Whatever. But I just enjoy football and good fans, even the "Evil Doer Opponent Fans"
