To me he had a better chance staying employed where he was. They play a fast paced offense, which means his D is likely to gassed in the second half. Administration there made a big investment in Sumlin and facilities, patience not included.
You know what's crazy, Miles' career at LSU is starting to look like Mack Brown's career at Texas. Win a title, average 10 wins, get back to a title game, lose to Alabama in that title game, then slowly start to spiral down.
i dont give a fuck about A&M. I care about the slight turmoil currently with the football program at the school I graduated. i mean its great and all you think everything is copacetic but its at a turning point in the program. who are we getting and what are we doing to change the ridiculous offense we are trying to run. les and cam should be shit-canned asap if they cant develop a qb next year.
This is so true, Les for all his faults, along with Cam, did their best to keep the D off the field. Something like 9 mins more per game the D will be on the field.
What you call turmoil, I see as a great chance. A good shot at a proven DC. Just picked up the top player in the state, and in the Nation. And you were the one posting about A&M, I was just giving a reply.
Plain and simple, the pathetic offense is ALL CLM. CCC is basically a figurehead. It's the same offense as we saw before CCC arrival....even down to the lack of quarterback development. I can't imagine why teams like Ohio State and Notre Dame can replace heisman candidates with freshmen that are more than suitable, yet we can't develop a single QB on our own. I can't give our staff too much credit for Mett.
