va tech is 4' and 51. Pokes are 3 over Chokelahoma and 78 total. opening lines are at vegasinsider.com
Man it's crazy to bet on a line like 78 total. If I were betting I would probably always go under, since I would be winning the best almost all the way into the 4th quarter, probably late 4th quarter and possibly even win the bet obviously. Still crazy, though.
its the norm in Big 12 games. hence their BCS results with oklahoma when facing a good d. Tech/Baylor opened at 78 and was bet up to 82 at kickoff. there were 42 points scored in the 2nd qtr, 59 at half. 28 more in the 3rd and 21 in the 4th. hence the reason these high scoring teams always seem to choke when needing a fg. they are rarely used in a pressure situation if at all beyond extra points. 108 total scored. since im looking baylors totals: 98 87 71 75 83 83 81 61 83 108 LSUs basketball games are less combined scores.
some serious cheese coming in on LSU--a team that doesnt have to win to advance. up to 13-14 everywhere. total @ 47. similar to chokelahoma against k st years back. never take a team with little incentive to win. and despite seccg and a possible undefeated season this works against LSU in a pretty big way. but LSU may be able to cover sleepwalking against them as well. i just wouldnt bet on it. 9-6 LSU
Damn you! Tiger fans were arrogant to come into this game thinking LSU would roll the Dawgs, perhaps it may be the other way around if this offense keeps up.
I think we'll be okay. No doubt everyone has their sights on the big trophy but THIS is Georgia's big bowl game. They will have ano opportunity to play for nothing but gifts after this game.
You think! LSU isn't matching the Dawgs intensity. Perhaps the second half the Tigers wake up but I am having my doubts. LSU doesn't look like they want to be in this game. I have watched every game this year and this game looks like the worst as far as 'want to win' . Yes, I'm over critical but Tigers need to prove me wrong!
Assuming we play in the real championship game I'm glad we're having our hiccup today and not then. We'll be aight.
