Even the biggest Les Miles supporters can't defend his actions last night. How delusional can someone be?
Lee made this offense believe. He had his hands up pumping the crowd and the players fed off his emotion. The 4th and14 catch made the recievers believe that we can throw the ball. They also seen the melt down at the end. Will they blame the coaches or jj we don't know. I have no faith in gc but "I have the want" to believe in miles. Get rid of crowton. Play to your qb's strengths. Get your head out your azz. Win win win and all will be forgiven. I am pumped about jl but I see what you are saying about he wasn't all that great buy how he has made this o believe is inspiring.
I don't need to forgive him. The last minute was a mess, but Miles doesn't owe me an apology. Hopefully the coaches will fix this the same way they corrected at Arkansas following last year's clock mgt. fiasco. I do think; however, that it would have been really nice to let JL finish that last drive. I would love to see us put together a win in the swamp with Lee leading the way...but I'm not betting on it.
Even if everyone here would "forgive" Les, you'd probably be hard-pressed to find anyone who could TRUST him to manage the end of a tight game. He said this wouldn't happen again, but it did. I have no confidence in him in these situations and I doubt I ever will. I like him. Most of what he does is good. I'll forgive him in a day or two, whatever that is worth. But I don't think I'll ever feel comfortable in a game like this with him calling the shots.
