I could take the loss a lot better if we would have shown a different game plan than the one we've shown in the last 5 losses. Common sense tells most people that if what you're doing ain't working, you better try something else.
In 2007, Spurrier laughed when Les called the fake FG where Flynn flipped the ball over his shoulder to Colt David. This year, McElwain was clapping after our fake FG. I thought it was probably an odd choice for Les to laugh there, but shit happens, I suppose.
Nope, he laughed, and he did remove his visor, ala tipping his hat to Miles (because Spurrier damn sure would have done it, too, if he'd had the athletes to do it.)
