No, that was damned reasonable of you. Everybody knew we had green quarterbacks, but no one expected a worse performance than the green Lee/Jefferson duo in 08/09. I thought that 10 wins were possible last summer, but 8 or 9 became more likely when no SEC-caliber quarterback emerged in September.

I go into every season thinking we can win them all. Because of the exodus of NFL talent and our young QB I figured we would lose a few this year.

i had little expectations in a rebuilding year. i had hoped we would have developed a qb and be ready out the gate next year.

as it stands now, les is going to get more heat than usual if this offense looks the same. this year was a mulligan that should could have ended up a little more special.

football should be entertainment, not a root canal. live a little, les. throw the goddamned ball. try that harris fella.

He used to be very daring, not sure what happened to the guy. While he still goes for 4th downs and a few trick plays, he is no where near the balls of steel he used to be.

all coaches who made their name as riverboat gamblers eventually became crusty old predictable coaches. at least in my lifetime. bobby bowden tommy tuberville, les miles and a couple others. once they become established and get their talent, they become boring like all other coaches. les just takes boring to a whole new level. we dont need overly ballsy. we need a passing game.

I expected that the defense would be better than they were in the beginning of the year. I expected LSU to beat Miss St. (didn't see that one coming). I expected a QB to emerge by the end of the year.

All I got was rain in Tiger Stadium.

I expect better times next year.

I thought 2-3 losses were probably realistic before the season started. Jennings looked shaky early but Harris and the D looked good so I got optimistic. Auburn killed us and the feeling started to fade. But I still had hope that Harris could develop. Hey you have to ride out some rough times to groom a great SEC QB. Of course, Harris has barely seen the field since and our passing game is non existent with Jennings. We seem to be in the same ditch as when we had JJ. So this depresses me almost more than losing to the pigs.
