I agree. I was actually in the student section at my first game in 2-3 years, jumping around like crazy as he was running towards us. We knew the game was over at that point.
All the games he played in over four years, you never knew what kind of a game he was going to have. Never sure. It was like flipping a coin every play.:rolleye33:
JL's play action pass to Beckman for a TD against WVA. I thought our QB troubles were behind us! :angryfire. Oh well, next year! :geaux:
Watching JJ break threw the field of media and bama fans, on his way to the locker room zone, for the last time..
Gotta be wings td against Florida, really didn't pay much attention to the kid before but that was cool
Yep .. I"m down with that. I actually enjoyed fully the first 4 games .... from there, .. well .. the same ol story as last year. I just pray that CLM dosn't do the same crap to Mett.
Not really... When did he ever have a great game? OK A&M, maybe the Peach bowl I think it was... And how much of that was A&M just being full of suck (As we learned the last two years) But I will give him that, he double his TD's for the season in one game (How pathetic is that) Anytime he was in the game I was pretty sure what I was going to get. Zone Read Option Incomplete Punt And a WHOLE lot of SUCK and a WHOLE LOT OF me yelling at the TV things like "THROW THE BALL !!" and anytime he dropped back me putting my hands on my head saying "Oh no" He had his moments but it was all setup by a bruising running game and punishing defense who gave us short fields. Someone show me ONE game where he won the game for LSU put the team on his back and won it. Like Cam Newton did many times or RGIII or Andrew Luck. Never happened. JJ is an outlier. Read the book. He was fortunate to be in the right place at the right time to have the record he did and sadly a coach who always gave him as much leash as he wanted. If he was on the team of early 90s late 80s. Mother of god.... He would have been 1 of 21for 2 yards....
