I was watching a recap of 97 Florida game, and I saw them rush the field. I was like, "WTF? Oh, that's right. We used to be perpetual underdogs." It seems like forever ago. I remember being in the stands when we rushed the field against TN in OT I think 2000. Does anyone know when we rushed the field for the last time?
i think it was tenn 2000 ,but it could be bama 2000 when they greased the goalposts to keep them from coming down
Beating Alabama for the first time at home for a while. Was that after TN 2000? They would rush the field so much in the early 2000's they would lube up the goal posts.

The State and City police as well as the Sheriff Dept took credit for defending the goal posts. They took pictures in front of them afterward. Funny thing I remember about the end of that game was all the shoes left on the field. A lot of people began to sober up about and hour later and said "Why the hell am I wearing only one shoe?"
