I will be visiting the LSU campus for the first time for the the Georgia game and am looking for any advice on what to do or see while we're there for the day. I'm looking forward to soaking up as much of the atmosphere as possible. Any ideas would be appreciated! Thanks :geaux:
You can pretty much occupy an entire day walking around the beautiful campus, talking to tailgaters (who will more likely than not feed you) and just soak in the atmosphere. There will be no shortage of things to do, and you won't have to go far to find it!
Any ideas/gut predictions if the LSU-UGA game will be an afternoon or night game? :geauxtige:geauxtige :geauxtige:geauxtige
If you get a chance to have a meal (besides tailgating) I would suggest The Chimes on Highland road just outside the gates to campus. Great food and amazing beer selection.
Looking at the NCAA schedule you have 4 games that are matchups of teams in the top 25 right now. LSU-UGA, Penn St.-tOSU, OkSt-Texas, and TexTech-Kansas. Generally the big12 games are played during the day, and I bet that ABC will get the Pennst-ohiost for their primetime slot, leaving the LSU game the only matchup of top 25's left without a slot. I bet ESPN pick this game up unless something happens next week and we screw up royally and get beat by USCe or someone else jumps into the top 25.
Have to miss the Jawja game, its my daughter's very first date (homecoming). Her date called me for permission to ask her out. I was impressed. Still hasn't showed up to do yard work, wash cars etc. I'll be cheering us on in front of the telly!
CBS has first pick of SEC games, so since it is the only one top 25 SEC game they will more than likely choose it for their 2:30 slot.
errr, didn't think about that, but maybe they will want to pick up Florida again... since obviously they had great numbers from the game this past weekend...
