my 1 cent ali highsmith is the only person who can tackle mcfadden. he made some bank from the nfl today. great game. even in pass coverage. mccray is terrible in pass coverage. More like really really lost. flynn shoulda been yanked in the first half as that sailing problem has plagued him all year was never corrected. steltz was freaking dead tired middle of the 3rd. and hurt. arkansas' defense was far less tired than ours. casey dick made up for his ineptness last year. also, mcfadden is not overrated to whomever asked. the heisman winner just earned the award for once in quite some time. r-kansas is more talented than I thought. also part II: what the hell was that blind pass to keiland on 4th and 1. someone is on drugs.
McFadden is bad ass, but he seems to be the kind of player that for every good run, he runs 4 or 5 times for no yards..Pretty much like Barry Sanders...He is gonna be the #1 pick in the NFL draft...But Felix Jones, damn, that dude seems to get at least 10 yards every time he touched the football....His average is like 9 yard per carry.
Good points, all. That 4th down play was really off the wall.... Is that why they call Crowton "The Wizard", or is he gone to Michigan or Nebraska too? Seems like alll the coaches have "other plans". ldskule:
thats because we stuffed him up the gut at times but almost never on the corners just like last year. they are too fast for our linebackers outside of ali it seems. sanders is overmatched in the sec speed-wise as is cutrera. i didnt think pelini's scheme was bad like the thread I saw previously before posting. we had stacked the box yet couldnt make the plays. we looked freaking tired all around after the first quarter. jones is fast as hell but mcfadden has both strength and speed and is always keyed on by every team yet still gets his. he opens the door for king felix.
Seems like it....I don't know if you agree with me, but instead of bringing a big name coach...We should go after Will Muschamp, the old defensive coordinator...He was awesome here and I think he's been better at Auburn...Players love him and he's way too intense in the sideline during games.
No chit. The play worked but that was one of the dumbest calls Ive ever seen. I dont know if Crowton or Miles called that but both should be carrying the "doofus" moniker today.
I didn't think it was bad either...It's just that nobody ever expected that the Hillis dude would score 3 TD's.
100+ penelties this year... Defensive Players RUNNING on to the field right before the snap.... Players not seeming to know their coverage... Questionable play calling....(KY OT run/run/run/run to end the game, calling SAME Slant Route 3 TIMES in the EZ, that 4th and 1 OH **** play) LAck of GamePlanning in the 1st Halves.... I hope Skip uses this chance to get RID of all the coaches and Put in some guys THAT WANT TO BE HERE! Not just use LSU as a stepping stone!
