Miles wasn't fired until he let the program slide and was no longer competing for the SEC West. Oeaux deserves this year and 2019. If he doesn't win in 2019 he will be fired too. He wasn't my choice but Miles wasn't either. Oeaux is our coach and I support him until he proves he doesn't deserve my support.
Not prematurely, he did it for years. Unless Eaux tanks, he and Alleva are probably safe - the limp wrists that run the show will go on worrying about increasing tuition and safe spaces or wtf-ever they're worried about.
I think we will be better in all three phases of the game. If we are, we will have a very good season. Starting with a win over the U.
I agree the what you are saying. we used to have some QBs talent: terry bradshaw, doug wiliams, stan humphries, the mannings , even bubby brister. I understand about the mannings. don't remember what happened with humphries, thought he initially signed with LSU, not sure. This was all a very long time ago. now we mostly produce dual-threat qbs. we produce mostly WRs, DBs, RBs - skill positions, but fewer OLs & DLs & LBs. I think we have to recruit nationally, not just instate. we were doing that not long ago. have to leave the comfy confines of LA. to get players like ethan pocic, joe barksdale, pat pete, danielle hunter, kwon alexander, sam montgomery, jamal adams, arden key etc. difference makers in college. I think we became "DBU" in 2007or 2008". Chad Jones & especially pat pete were huge. so much talent here at DB for a decade. find it disheartenning to see orgeron take just 1 CB the last class.
