I'm not saying it as a knock on their playing. They played very well in the fourth quarter, and I think that they could be a serious contender for just about everyone else they have to play. But to beat them when there is only a three spot difference in the rankings between us and them and them to still be ahead of us would make me pretty mad. As for your picture all I can do is...:rofl::rofl:
I projected yesterday that we would drop 2-3 spots. I would not have North Carolina in my top 25. It might be worse than I anticipated based on a CBSSports ranking that came out: They dropped us from 18 to 26 (CBS' own poll, not relevant but it's a poll nonetheless by a legit sports site and network). Interestingly, they have North Carolina at 19. That's ludicrous as you have to think this team is going to tank this year (unless their players are coming back). Not sure if that will be a foreboding. I certainly hope not.
Well early BCS rankings shouldn't have a 0-1 team in it. If we lose like 2 games and UNC does but plays good, thats when they get ranked over us..... if that ever happens...
I think it's because of the game tonight and the holiday. Why that game couldn't be counted in week 2's polls I know not, except that today is Labor Day.
They always wait to put the polls out if there is a Monday game. They will wait until all the "weekend" games have been completed then vote.
