He doesnt WANT to play o-line, but with him commited, he will get buried in the depth chart and will end up moving to o-line anyway..

Chase Pittman wasn't exactly quick or agile. I think the staff has made a mistake in bulking up RJF so much.

If Miles didn't move any DT to OT this year when we were deep on the DL and shallow on the OL, then I wouldn't expect him to do so next year when we have a bunch of new OL comimg in.

I disagree, Pittman is VERY quick off the snap of the ball. Pittman isnt that fast, but he is very quick in short busts. Often times he beat his man with quickness. Pittman was a small DE, Jackson is the more prototypical DE. I agree however that Francois put on too much weight. I wonder how his speed will be, especially against faster RBs like Ark have that run around the end a lot?

They wanted him able to play both DE & DT. Plus, it doesn't look like his speed has suffered much if at all. The kid is a freak of nature.

When I think about it, Francois played DT a lot more than DE this year. Willis was the top back up at DE. While Alexander and Francois backed up at DT. I also remember seeing T Johnson at DE. More so in the earlier part of the season.

I thought I would have committed by now. Hope there is no reason for us to get nervous about him.

exactly ... worry about his grades ... worry about the health and safety of any quarterback in his line of vision ... but ... don't worry about his weight
