what does legality have to do with these friends that have been ruined? they would be ruined regardless of legality. they get ruined with drugs, or they get ruined with alcohol. one legal, the other illegal. no difference. both totally accessible to anyone.
You are not an expert in everything, you know. That may be your experience and your opinion, but you haven't been down that dark road, so don't preach to those that have.
Valid point, but don't ignore the scourge drugs have become. Many young lives have been and continue to be ruined, or at least rendered useless because of illegal drugs.
really so many good points made in the video above. clearly overeating is way more destructive than, for example, smoking pot. and also it truly is a ****ing disgrace that people are locked up for drug use. locked up! freedom taken, rights taken, lives taken! for recreational drug use! crazy. mid blowingly insane.
and wouldnt it be easier to deal with these problems if these drugs users were not considered criminals as well. why ot just treat them like what they are, people who are making bad decisions that are self-destructive? these people need help, they need friends and they needs reassurance and attention. they dont need to be locked up. and now they have to go and get involved with all sort of shady characters and be secretive and all this, and scared of being locked up like a murderer. its crazy. and also there are people who use hard drugs recreationally with no ill effects. doesnt seem right to stop them. i saw watch the friedman video again, everything you need to know is in that video.
You don't know what roads I have been down, chief. I made a simple comment, you are the one preaching and advocating death sentences. Does that also apply to those close to you?
I understand, amigo. But did weed really kill them . . . or a series of bad choices? We all speak from our experiences. Of my six closest friends from my doper days, . . . one owns a successful and popular local restaurant, one is a retired naval officer, one is a tenured professor, one makes $250K selling pacemakers, one is an high-level electrical engineer at Intel . . . and one has a low-paying job at age 55, but he loves being a musician and he put both his kids through college. I do have some friends who have died or were unsuccessful, but I can't blame it on pot smoking.
