I'm kind of wondering why it was in Houma on the 27/28 of Sept. we don't have any talent in this area, at least none that are better than what's on the team already.
I think so @Bengal B a friend of mine called me wanting to know why it was here. Still bitter over the last recruiting season I guess. That is what he described.
LSU leases planes from a contractor, sometimes a turboprop, sometimes a business jet. The contractors often put an LSU logo on them, but LSU owns no planes for recruiting that I know of. I hear that TAF owns a turboprop, too. It could be fat cats fundraising.
Renting planes is where it is at. I used to be a minion to the owners of a big, really big privately held company. We had favorites amongst the rentals. One accelerated so fast it planted you back in the seat. Those things are amazing. I remember on night, we were like the 5th or 6th trip of the day, They had been all around the east coast, down to Texas, up to St Louis for our trip to Des Moines, then going to Detroit to go to Gulf Coast of Florida. All in a day's work. I am so glad that crap is behind me!
