There ain't no way I'm pulling for Bama. Awe, hellllllllllllll nooooo... The funny thing is that I've always disliked Florida more than Bama (although I have huge admiration for both schools' traditions and like watching them). And I don't like Urban Meyer even though I think he's a very good coach. But can you imagine the Nick Saban a$$licking that is going to go on if they win? All the Les Miles insults/LSU fans are jealous and LSU is going in the toilet while Bama is back on top stuff... Oh, now that would make me sick. Like we haven't heard it enough already. I'm not jealous that Bama has Saban. I just think he's an a$$$$$hole for going there and competing against LSU after saying how much he loved LSU and how special it is to him. That's like a father saying, "Son, I love you to death, but I'm going to coach that other little league team that y'all hate because they offered me a good deal where I get free pickles and pop rocks at the concession stand with no questions asked. Look, I still love you and this team that I used to coach and y'all really helped make me a somebody...but it's a great opportunity. Now don't take it personal when I try to crush your dreams of winning the league by beating you. Oh, by the way, I'll be trying to do that every year to your team. Still love you guys though! You're #1!" Look, that was stupid, but it's the best kind of comparison that I could come up with. And I was letting the Saban stuff die down, but the media won't shut the hell up about it. I think I just want to hear them shut up for a second. All I can say is thank God we beat them last year in their house because we'd be hearing it even more right now. I can't pull for Bama. It just wouldn't be right. All of Saban's lies to the Dolphins weren't right. His hypocricy isn't right either. He was talking about how ridiculous it is for all of these SEC coaches to be getting canned and how he doesn't agree with it. He even mentioned Croom. Well how do you think his a$$ got the Bama job? They fired Mike Shula for going 10-3 and 6-6 in his last two years. And he got a team hit by probation! I remember him saying that Mike Shula was a good coach and that he had a lot of respect for him before ever going to Bama. He basically said that more people needed to give Shula respect. What??? Where was his respect for Shula after he got fired? Saban obviously didn't agree with the firing, right? He couldn't, right? Wrong. Money talks and bull$hit walks. He should practice what he preaches. For those who hate Flordia, it would be justified to not be upset if they beat Bama this weekend. You get a pass. Well, it should be a great game. I think Bama is a lot better than what 90% of the country thinks. I read posts all year about how they're overrated, yet they are the only BCS conference school that is 12-0. They may not be the strongest #1, but they've earned it. It wouldn't totally shock me if they pull off an upset either. I think Florida will just be a little too much for them. But I'm thinking it will be a great game. My best scenario: Florida beats Bama OU pulls a 2003 against K. St. and loses to Missouri (unlikely, but you never know) Texas goes to the Championship Game Texas beats Florida It's not more unlikely than how we got in the BCSCG last year and won.
The only way we retain our title to "Only team with 2 Crystal Balls" is if Bama wins the National Championship. Because if it falls to Florida or Oklahoma in the National Title game, we'll be tied with another for two. I just can't bear to hear the Bama homers that'll come over after and talk smack about howtheir "back".
Remember this though......Tim Tebow has never had a 4th quarter comeback. So if Florida is down in the 4th quarter.................
