The flinch was a flinch. Peterson had the interception and I knew they wouldn't give it to us. Friends of mine that aren't LSU fans couldn't believe that call. The killer was the Julio TD. I don't understand why you give him a 10yd cushion and then backup 5 yds at the snap. That was awful.
You mustn't have watched the second half. We did do this, Lee sailed it each time. One time he hit Mark Ingram between the numbers on Bama's sideline. We certainly took several shots down field, we just don't have an accurate deep ball QB.
most of the people up here in north mountains of N.C. (that Ive talked to today say that the SEC has an obvious cash cow with the Florida & Bama championship game (tv ratings and all) and they aint gonna let anyone screw it . These people could care less about the SEC, but they say we have a real mess in our conference. I dont know, Our boys really played hard and every dog has his day, so Bama came crow all they want, but we will be back. GOOOOOOO TIGGGGERS
One of my friends is a 20 year ref. I asked him if he saw it and if he would call it. He told me that yes he saw it and that it was not enough of a flinch to cause the defense to move, so he would not call it.
What got me was the flinch that they didn't call on Bama. And the pass interference they didn't call on Bama. And the NUMEROUS holding calls they didn't call on Bama. Watch the replays and count the number of times on those big Ingram runs that the offensive lineman had a grip on the outside/back of our d-lineman. Wrapped right around our lineman's shoulder pads. Watch the replay where our defensive lineman was there to fill the hole except for the o-lineman on his knees with a handfull of LSU jersey as our lineman tried to fill the hole. No wonder he got through the line. The fix was in.
