I doubt we'll see alot of the playbook this week, but what improvements do you expect on offense and defense?

Defense - less miscommunications, more Patrick Peterson.

Offense - improvement from Lee & Keiland Williams. Lee needs to be able to check down & not stare down his primary WR. I want to see Jordan Jefferson get a few snaps as well.

    Special Teams - improved punting.

That is what I expect to see. Ideally, I'd like to see Hatch have a stronger arm... but that's not going to happen.

Troy is obviously a rent-a-win. But this is another pretty good football team within their conference. Of their 4 losses last year, 3 came to Arky, Florida and Georgia and Troy played respectably in all of those games. The 4th loss was to Fl Atlantic.

    Anyway...

I'd like a repeat of yesterday's gameflow in the sense that I'd like to see a blowout first half that allows a lot of ebb and flow of personnel in the second half.

    Obviously, punting had better improve.

I'd rather not see JJ until the very end because I think both Lee and Hatch need more snaps. And I wouldn't mind seeing Lee get an earlier go at it, while the Oline is still fresh.

I would like to see the Troy QB on his back about six times with the ball still in his hand when he hits the ground.

I would like to see less than 5 penalties and a positive turnover ratio.

Improved QB play. I'd like to see as much QB play as possible. I'd almost rather not see Jefferson to give the other two more snaps. We will have a hard time in the SEC with the QB's we saw yersterday. I expect them to improve though. Maybe I'm being a little harsh. Sure wish we had one more year of Flynn.
The front 4 of App. St. was not that good OR our OL & blocking backs are awesome. Not sure what our QB's will do with a severe rush.

Unfortunately, I suspect that will be Saturday November 15th.

No second half letdown by the offense.
    More production from Williams.
Improvement in the QBs, particulary Lee.
    Better kicking by Dalfer

I'd like to see Lee get more time and hopefully look a little more comfortable. I think he needs as many snaps as possible before sec play.

    In order:

    1. No more broken coverages, Mr. Defensive Coordinators. Two wide-open receivers due to blown coverages will kill us in the SEC.

    2. Find a 40-yard punter, Mr. Head Coach. Dalfrey, Jasper, it doesn't matter, but poor field position in the SEC can ruin your best plans.

    3. Stop locking onto your primary receiver, Mr. Quarterback. SEC defensive backs will make you pay for it.

    4. Find a way to get Holliday into the offense, Mr. Offensive Coordinator. You don't get speed like this very often. Try "Trindon go long" sometime, for heaven's sake.
