No doubt about it we are still in a position to control our own destiny. It just makes me sick with the teams preformance against a FCS school.. SMH...
Agreed and no swagger from this Defense. We go to the swamp and get a big win and that may all change. We are out of the cupcakes and into the meat of our schedule. Playing big games always brings more intensity! Gotta believe we can rise to the challenge!!
WVU beat Baylor in a basketball-style score that looked like last year's Alamo Bowl, and you're calling them composed and sharp? K-State was losing at home to North Texas for most of that ballgame. Losing...most of the game. UGA escaped from a bad Tennessee team at home.
I don't think we move up until the 11/3 showdown unless someone above us loses and I don't see that happening yet. Florida State will go undefeated with the cupcakes until Florida beats them on the last weekend of the season. That'll be their one and done loss. I think Oregon will drop one, but to who? Maybe they'll put up the wrong combination of those funky colors and it works against them. Who knows. I do say they drop at least one game though. At the end, I hate to be thinking this way, but IF....IF we can go undefeated, and Alabama's only loss is to us, a rematch of last year's championship game may be possible. Who else would it be? Kansas State? Doubt it. Florida State? Possible if they bounce back after conference championships. SECCE would be out after the SECCG loss. West Virginia??? Hmmm......
Never thought i would say this but maybe losing the Honey Badger has had and negative response to this teams effort on the field. We don't seem like the firery bunch that we came out with last year. Maybe its the cup cake teams we have been playing. I mean we did put it all over Washington who beat Stanford this past week.
