I hated what I watched last night. We seem to have a lot of the same problems as last year. What happened to the dominant front 4 in the first half. We were in the backfield as much as the QB. 2nd half we looked like we were on our heels and quit attacking. Any way back to the topic, What if UNC ends the season with a 2 or 3 loss season with the players they used tonight. Do we look at this game in a different light, or do we still look at it like we survived a inferior team?

As much as I want to scream at the top of my lungs I think I'll wait to evaluate after a few games in. Watching these guys make the same mistakes over and over is like Chinese water torture.

UNC took the front line out of the game with quick passes. LSU was out coached.

Most of the problems were offensive though. If your offense can't pick up 1st downs well you are going to have problems... just ask Florida yesterday. You can have the best defense in the world, you allow the other team's offense to just keep getting the ball, well bad things usually happen.

UNC will go 2-10 or 3-9 this season if they don't get back their players.

We played a Mickey Mouse team last night.

I don't think so, UNC has a nucleus of real talent and it showed last night. We need for them to be good for our own SoS.

I agree. We have to have some long sustained drives to rest our defense. Those quick slants were killing me, and you are right no adjustment made to stop it. I just don't agree with the "bend but don't break" philosophy. You can not stay on the feild that long and count on stopping the team in the red zone. One blown assignment or mismatch and it's 6 points. I want 3 and outs or at least 7 and out. I don't want the other team to be close enough to even smell the endzone. Long offensive drives and aggressive defense would accomplish that. Like the 2nd quarter.
It is so dis-heartning to watch all that talent not play at a high level for 60 minutes.

Oh and I forgot to add...What do you think of the over 400 passing yards and 3 TD's . With the secondary hype we have been hearing is this what we can expect the rest of the season?

Well it's all relative. Are they good or is it that we were just that bad?

We'll find out in the coming weeks if NC doesn't get back their players.

But yes, for our sake, this UNC team needs to win with this player set.

Regardless, it was an unacceptable 2nd half of football dominated by UNC.

There is always good in light of what may seem bad.

We won the game after just given the game over to UNC. I could think of worse.

LSU could turn it around or they could bust, doesnt matter b/c it is out of our hands.

Just gotta keep the faith and hope for the best..
