That may be what you mean, but the thread comes off as a backwards compliment to NS and a bashing of CLM. Just sayin.

Most of BR has no faith that this staff is going to fix anything and we are going to get more of the same on Sat night.

I haven't seen anything so far that would convince me otherwise.

Also not sure why Saban has to be a thread, but since you brought it up, it's childish, ignorant and embarrassing to continue to call him satan. You and all the others who do the same act like the guy put sugar in your gas tanks and ran over your dog. Really? Do you think he actually owes you something?

I have nothing against the man who paved the way for LSU to be considered among the best in college football. I've already stated in other posts why many in BR respect the guy and it's got nothing to do with the W/L record. All you have to do is say thanks for getting the program pointed in the right direction and have a great life.

For crying out loud, the guy did nothing wrong; just let it go.

you ever go drinking with the guys and make a really good point and everyone gets mad at you??

then you get all no no no no thing going!!!!

I would re do the thing but it's to late! What I am talking about is perception!

The perception is that Nick can do no wrong and CLM can do no right!!!

Guess the perception of the board is that I am a boob now!!!

    I can handle it

    Coach Miles can handle it!!!

I don't think anyone thinks you're a boob. It is apparent, and you're not alone, that many of the newer posters don't check to see how many threads of the similar topic exist.

Reminded me of a comment made by Buddy Songy on his radio show: We don't want to talk about your ex after your divorce.:D

just saying Nick has been to 10 bowl games

his record - the guy that walks on water

    lost 6 won 4

Les has been to 7 bowl games

    won 5 lost 2

some say you measure a coach by his bowl records since you have time to prepare and you have 2 good teams playing!!!

nice fact for the good guys:miles:

Nick would also be getting criticism about his team underachieving. He was starting to get it before he left.

Don't get your hopes up for the end of Nick Saban threads. We still get Hawkeye threads on basketball coach Lute Olson leaving for Arizona. Lute left 25 years ago. He's now retired.

You're just in the "baby steps" stage of tired threads with this one.

I even remember hearing Bear Bryant retired, actually died. See, makes no difference to some fans.
