spending creates jobs. except when bush spent like mad apparently it hurt the economy. presumably obama will couple his spending with extra taxes that way there are more jobs i guess. i think it works via MAGIC
If you're saying that I excused Bush's spending but not Obama's, you are wrong. Some of Bush's bailout spending was due to a serious crisis and occurred at the outset and it's arguable whether it was all necessary, though some still claim the Bush bailouts were absolutely necessary. But whether you want to give Bush a pass or not does not excuse the "drunken sailor" spending by Obama in the name of economic recovery. Now that it has been shown not to work, he wants to do it again and that is unacceptable.
i am not, iam saying that red somehow believes spending fixes things, but only when obama does it. spending is bad. the bush bailouts were not necessary at all and in fact were tremendously damaging. correct. spending only works when it on infrastructure or education or defense or maybe 2 other things.
It is in response to your unconditional thesis that whatever Obama does is wrong. The economy is slowly growing. This is preferable to the crash that happened under the Republicans. You take counsel of your fears. We are not in a recession and we are no going into one. All the indicators are positive. That's your characterization. I support policies to the left, to the right, and in the middle. I am not in lock-step with a party like yourself. You never think logically. You just know if Obama is for it, then you are against it.
Some indicators can be construed as positive only in the sense that they are not going down. But, they are stagnant and have been for some time.
Gas prices go down and car sales go up. Do you think dipsh!t will see a correlation and let us start drilling offshore?
