For the present time, I'm going to have to be happy with "a win is a win" no matter how poorly the game was played or coached or how sloppy it was. If not I'll just be pissed off during the current coaching regime, because they're happy with it.
Not so much a defense mehanism, mostly my understanding of the mood of the board. There will be much disappointment in TigerFan.com if LSU wins 9 or 10 this year. Even more disappointment if LSU manages to win the SEC-W. It's not hard to predict.
