We did improve some. But honestly, I'm not impressed by State this year. And so I remain cautiously optimistic.
Moo doesn't have the elite athletes but Leach and that offense will give most teams fits. They gave us fits. Their QB could play at most SEC schools. I don't see any team holding them under 20 points. With you we need to improve and injuries are killing us right now.
FWIW 25 ranked teams after 4 weeks have a loss. Not saying we should be happy with our loss to UCLA but like it or not there IS more parity in college football now. Only 25 scholarships and now with the transfer portle this is changing things.
agree, the Moo's are not impressive. 4-7 last year, 2-2 this year. They make a lot of noise but in the end it's 0-41 against Bama & probably a losing season. Still hard to gauge where LSU is right now. No idea if Auburn is any good ot not. 1st year HC making changes where problems exist though.
I think we have an elite defensive line so we should do better against a running team like Aub. Losing Anthony is a blow and Gaye is playing hurt. We will learn a lot this weekend. I like our chances playing at home and should see our full playbook this Saturday.
