I'm not defending Brandon Harris... he clearly is not a good quarterback.... but it would be difficult for almost any quarterback in this set of pass plays that turns its back on the defense for half the play.

    Tome Herman
    Larry Fedora
    Mike Gundy
    Jeff Brohm

I think those are 4 realistic guys.

He threw 6 passes high in the game. The pick that ended the game he never even looked before he threw it

He also could've gotten Fournette and #89 killed on two high arcing floaters with Safeties bearing down. The throw to 89 was in the middle of the field no less. Dude has no business starting another game at LSU.

Opening the offense doesn't mean just passing the ball more. Maybe it does to Les, but it shouldn't to anyone else. Opening it up means lining up 4 and 5 wide, spreading the defense, using Fournette as a decoy, using the tight ends and slot receivers.

Opening it up isn't lining up in I formation and throwing it deep to 1 of your only 2 receivers that went out for a pass in the first place.

Look what happened when DeSean Smith was actually thrown the ball!!??? Why are you wasting your 3/4 of your offense, by doing the most pedestrian thing possible.

It is frustrating seeing your team just continue to get out there and run into a brick wall. But it was obviously going to happen again.

I thought we ran it a lot better in the 2nd half when Teuhema was in the game

Exactly. As much as I'd like for us to go after him, Herman's got a good thing going at Houston. I doubt he'd even go to UT or A&M. The time to get him would have been last year, but he's not going anywhere now unless Texas decides to over pay and offer him 10m per.

So right! After the pick, it was almost like a sarcastic laugh versus throwing shit, cussing, and scaring my kids.

I remember that. He followed this with 'Where's my wife?' I knew right then we were doomed.

Well Boutte might not be playing for awhile. People are not letting that hit slide like our head coach is...

Was I the only one who heard Harris during timeout tell one of the other players to 'stfu'?
