Different head coach, different OC, different offense. Also wasn't playing Wisconsin.

When you're getting smoked defenses play a lot looser. 186 yds is pretty horrible in a 41-10 game. That's when you pad your stats.

    Why the infatuation with Briles?
It is disgusting what the AD, president, coaching staff did over there just to protect a few players and not impact their season.

What is Applewhite doing these days. Wasn't he the one bashing Miles and Harris on the SEC network after the game. If he is such as good OC why is he working in studio and not being an OC somewhere?

He's pure spread option. Miles would stroke out.

If we could keep Armanda and let him work with the defense , because I liked what I saw from our D. I wouldn't mind having him as our next HC . Start a rebuild . I would take 2 or 3 seasons going 8-5 but showing promise on offense than what we got now . like what Bama did with Saban and what Clemson did with Dabo and what Ole Miss did with Freeze .

Have to do your due diligence with Applewhite. He was a twenty-something OC when Saban hired him to take the Alabama reigns as OC in 2007. Didn't work one season. He went back to Texas with his old coach Mack Brown as a position coach. Not sure if he ever OC their Texas team? So LSU HC, that's a heady move up the food chain.

well he's not my top choice for sure . My Thinking on It is He is from Baton Rouge . He was the Assistant HC when he left BAMA at Texas and the was OC at Texas from 11-13 before joining Herman at Houston . Hopefully between Brown , Saban , and Herman he can do something with the recruits he can pull .

There is a cure to that which involves moving Miles from coach to couch.
