No excuse for Harris. But his line sucks.

Texas has a true freshman QB throwing TD passes. I'm jelly.

It's really the scheme and multiple sets. Our dumb ass head coach and o-coordinator is behind the times.

The problem with Herman though may be that like Saban, LSU isn't a permanent home, it's just a stop on the way to something better in his eyes.

Mark Hudspeth from ULL would be interesting . He's proved he can rebuild a team and a quarterback as Jennings didn't throw a pick against Boise state . But Herman and Briles would be my first choice .

Hudspeth could be an under the radar coach, although I'd prefer a more proven coach. Hudspeth needs to move up to the next eschelon IMO before coming to a perennial power like LSU.

As for Briles, no way. His team is all O with zero D. Plus look at all the issues they're dealing with under him. I'll pass.

True . If Briles was the option , I hope he would keep Armanda . I also think we can steal Fedora from North Carolina would be a great hire . Proven he can hang with the big boys as he has had close games with Clemson and Georgia and rebuilt North Carolina to more than a basketball power . Also , keep a eye on P.J. fleck from western Michigan . Has NFL experience as well as a great recruiter .
