That doesn't explain why the site is unavailable just why there is a google warning before entering the site. I think they've shut the site down before when the **** hits the fan.
I agree on all points. On the bolded point it's not just Les in football. That happens in every segment of society thats 'reported' on in the media. Politics, business, entertainment, whatever. Once it becomes easy to write your column by using the pinata of the day, a lot of journalists take the easy way out.
That's the way I saw it, too. But can Carolina put it all together again when it's not the biggest game in their history? I'm suspicious.
Good question, We will have to wait and see how it plays out...As for Ala I'm probley the only Bama fan in the world who's glade that the target is off our backs lol. Now that the pressure is off it will be interesting to see how our Bama team does in the remaining schedual. Roll Tide:grin:
You would be correct. We suspect an ad has caused google to throw up a red flag on the site. Our publisher is working on the problem. Congrats on beating Florida. Our fans are not on suicide watch after the loss and the message board was pretty calm before the block.
On a related note, I had trouble getting on here today. Too much traffic or malicious ads? error message: "The server is too busy at the moment. Please try again later."
Tidefans is back up and running for any of you who want to come view the meltdown. The Details: This is the result of a rogue ad being served last week which google identified during one of its site scans. We have removed all non-google ads from the site until we identify the specific culprit. The president & CTO of our server host was on the case immediately tonight (10/9 @ 8pm) and virtually guarantees that it was coming from the rogue ad and not something actually on TideFans. So, since we've turned off all non-google ads, there should be no chance you will have issues. HOWEVER, do let us know ASAP if you believe there is a problem.
