Thank you, these tards are ridiculous, sorry our defense isn't playing pop-warner kids and can't stop every run for a loss.....This just goes to show you how great our Defense has been with everyone expecting PERFECTION:wave:

Yea, verily. Expectations are at an all-time high. That's not a bad thing.

The defense is not great. And the offense is not good enough to compensate for an okay defense. Especially when you factor in the bad Tiger punt and kick off teams, both returning and covering.

LSU will be lucky to make it to the national title game. If they do, purple and gold supporters better pray the Tigers don't play West Virginia. You saw what Brent Schaeffer did to the Tigers. Imagine how Pat White and Steve Slaton would fare.

#2 is not great? Is it spiffy? Or maybe phat? How 'bout kinda good?

#11 in scoring, 450 ypg. Not good enough to compensate for being the #2 defense in the country?

Hey - you made a point. Didn't expect that. (Edit: Note, we did get better, what with a 98 yard return and all.)

By what Schaeffer did to the Tigers, do you mean LOSE? By 17 points? So, you mean we'll only beat the Mountaineers by 10? And that sucks.....how?

Seriously, TC. Do some homework before you spew sewage. There are other forums that have threads that would welcome unsubstantiated horse manure.
From my experience, this forum is a little better than that most of the time.

Apparently so, what happened to our lone resident level-headed USC fan?

Also, remember that LSU is playing a lot of young guys right now. Mc Cray makes me cringe every time he steps on the field--though he will be a GREAT one before it's said and done. As good as Nevis and Alem are, they're still young. Cutrera and Chad Jones have been impressive to say the least, but they're all young players that will make mistakes. Heck, even our vets are making a few mistakes, but this defense is still good enough to win out.

Another thing that was interesting to me in the Ole Miss game was how we came out firing on all cylinders on offense. I think the team got kind of complacent since we're all used to LSU being a second half team. Also, LSU continues to hurt themselves a lot more than their opponents.

I hate that we have a short week in prep for Arky, but if we can just get by them we'll have had enough time to rest up and play our best two games of the season.
