If you call throwing the ball around the perimeter for 30 seconds and then takin an ill advised three pointer more fun to watch then yes... Brady ball was a thrill. Brady's last team was essentially the same as Johnson's first. Except Brady had a lottery pick. He finished last in the west. TJ won the SEC. This is a rebuilding year largely cause Brady could not keep a kid on campus longer than two seasons. Johnson is establishing a program here. Watch out.
one time. there's plenty other stuff to point to than make a mountain out of that molehill. honestly, ctj's o hasnt looked tons better. i expect it will, given time, but it really hasnt yet. his claim to fame (offensively) is the improvement in thornton and spencer last year. one has severely regressed. the players had one more year experience last year and tas was back im not sure that is still the case. i think its because there were lots of seniors lost and ctj decided not to use all the available schollys last year. isnt randolph the only defector still on the books? rolle and neltner wouldve been gone anyway.
There have been several threads devoted to basketball on here. Football happens the most popular sport for LSU, with baseball a very close second. LSU is just more of a football/baseball school than basketball. Totake a stab at your ending question, no LSU Football will never be ignored:geaux:
THIS. LSU will be much improved next year. if you don't have patience to wait till next season, then cheer for other teams this year, might i suggest texas, kentucky, or UNC. they are already used to having bandwagon fans anyway.
If John Brady gets 11 seasons, then Trent Johnson should get at least 5 to see how he recruits and how he fares in the SEC. I don't think you are going to see fans with pitchforks and machetes in front of TJ's office if he has a down season, like you would for any football coach. They are rebuilding, lost the SEC player of the year, one of the best defender's in the league, and Johnson who showed flashes last season. Give it some time.
