If Hatch fumbles twice on his first drive, Lee will come in. I do not understand why Perrilloux is not traveling wth the team if he was cleared and not arrested. Bama will be taking shots at Flynn to be sure and our season could rest on having a capable backup.
from watching both for the past 3 months, Jarrett Lee is better imo. I think in the heat of the battle, Miles may take off the redshirt, knowing he could play him for most of the La Tech game. Then imo, he goes into next season with Perrilloux (hopefully) and he could always try to redshirt Lee again, playing Hatch in blowouts, hoping Perrilloux doesn't get injured.
We put Glenn Dorsey at QB, and he runs the option. Option 1...run to the left and trample 6 Bama defenders on the way to the end zone. Option 2...run to the right and trample the other 5.
Andrew Hatch will go in, see the defence and call a time out. He'll then come to the sidelines and recieve a pen and pad and a TI-89 graphing calculator. He punch in some numbers and functions, discover somethng, and go out on the field. Then he'll take the snap, throw a screen to kieland williams and we'll get a touchdown....it pays to have a Harvard guy at the helm. then he'll do this thing  .
I am inclined to agree. The explanation that he has not practiced, therefore he can't play, doesn't cut it, IMO. He did not practice because CLM did not let him practice. Bottom line, RP has been punished in excess of his "crime," which in short, was poor judgement. The guy definitely needs some type of guidance, because he is showing a history of poor judgement that puts him into questionable situations. But this punishment has the potential to blow up into consequences for the entire program. Maybe that's CLM's point, to get it into RP's head how things can escalate. But I don't think I'd be trying to teach a life lesson to one guy at the possible expense of a national championship.
If he gets turned around and runs the wrong way, scoring for the other team too. :hihi: What "Crimes" aren't a result of "Poor judgement"? A pattern of using poor judgement, in itself, would warrant him staying back imo. That's what Miles is trying to do. And not "Punishing" a player whose name is brought up in three "Questionable situations" in one calendar year has MUCH more potential to "Blow up into consequesnces for the entire program". The fact that Miles is doing it at all possible expenses will make one helluva statement and at least should serve as a deterrent for the future- for all players. Miles is making it clear (And that's accepting things at face value) "Look, I'm finished with hearing your name in these situations........I never hear Flynn's name brought up in potentially (Again, accepting things at face value) criminal activity, nor 98% (Just a random percentage)of the other players........ENOUGH. You have a great future, don't allow yourself to be AROUND any situations that could take it from you".
isn't it REAL ironic how in Flynn's last "biggest start", he was the only active QB, too. I remember us talking about the same scenarios for the Miami game.
I dont understand why either but I think if Hatch would fail Early probably knows the offense the best and could be put in. If he was 100% this season I would've like for him to run some "Wildcat" formation. Jai Eugene was a pretty good hs QB but probably doesn't know the offense.
