She's a bit of a city girl. I'm not sure she'd like Stillwater, though she doesn't love all cities. She pretty much hated NYC this past summer.
Ahh Stoolwater! A quaint little party village. Tucked away in the middle of nowhere (They do have Carl Albert Lake) and some of the very best up and coming red dirt music you will ever find. If she likes Stoney Larue, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Turnpike Troubadours then she will fit in fine. If she is a Taylor Swift chic, meh not so sure. We will invite you for dinner on your way up.
We plan to go back, too. Well, my younger daughter wants to go to art school, and NYC appeals to her a lot (especially SoHo; she even found an apartment building she liked.). However, both of my girls said that as far as Northeastern cities go, they both liked Boston a lot more. They also like Chicago and Los Angeles more.
I'm pretty sure she's not into "red dirt" music. Lately, it's all show tunes (call it the NYC/Broadway effect,) especially "Hamilton." I'm not sure how that will play in Stillwater.
I can tell you how it will play, it won't. Not at all. Guitars is where it's at dear. Tell her to snuggle up with a Randy Rogers Band playlist and learn to like it. If that's where she wants to go that is. She will either hate it or conform.
