ok, so we "missed" on every QB we recruited? FSU's QB has developed more since halftime of this game than every LSU QB not named Mettenberger since '08 combined.
It's a combination of both. Has LSU missed on quarterbacks that can run this offense? Absolutely. Would these quarterbacks do well elsewhere? Maybe. I'm not real sure. Ultimately though the blame falls on the shoulders of Les and Cam. But I honestly believe none of these guys would do a thing elsewhere either, maybe unless you put Harris in Auburn's offense, or Georgia Tech's. These guys can't make good decisions quick enough, but to be fair it doesn't help when you don't get coached up, your line can't block, and your staff can't even get plays in on time. It's a clusterfuck all the way around. I'm not trying to say a good pocket passer would solve all of LSU's issues, clearly it won't. But it damn sure wouldn't hurt and I think the offense would be a lot better, until we play the good teams, it wouldn't be enough to beat Alabama.
We haven't really missed on QB's. We just don't develop them at all. The atrocious play calling doesn't help them either.
What? These idiots cherry picked these qbs. They either can't develop or can't evaluate; I'm going out on a limb and saying both.
You're a tard. LSU should've played for a national title in '06, not drumming Notre Lame in the Sugar.
actually we didn't beat bama with those guys because the defense let us down in those games. the o produced enough points as i remember.
Considering what you said, this hurts plenty. We will never see LSU included in this kind of article as long as CLM is in charge. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...florida-states-deondre-francois-tops-them-all
