Whoah! You've got way too routes being run at one time on those pass plays. There can only be 2 receivers running routes at a time... clearly, it's a rule or something.

Mett came to LSU already developed. Show me one QB that signed with LSU out of HS that developed at all. Lee would be the closest and we see how Miles handled him. How many years has Miles had to produce one decent QB? Hell, Miles has ran off more QBs in the last two years than the total number he's ever developed in his entire time here, even if you credit him Mett.

It was hard to argue after Miles won the NC, but it creeped back and got exceedingly worse after we lost the second NC. Miles has played ugly ball from day one.

Let's take a look at all those others:

Jordan Jefferson: running quarterback (sloppy footwork, throws like Bill Cartwright shoots a free throw). square peg round hole, at least he had the benefit of running an offense that hadn't quite yet evolved into what it is today.

Jarrett Lee: pocket passer, gunslinger, throws a lot of picks, not very mobile. Didn't really fit into that Crowton spread offense. When the offense got dumbed down, he seemed to do a lot better his senior year save the Alabama game. Let's face it, he just wasn't very good.

Anthony Jennings: running quarterback again square peg round hole, this is when Les has completely taken over the offense, it's a old school prostyle very dumbed down offense. There was no way a running QB was gonna come in and succeed in this offense.

Brandon Harris: running quarterback another square peg round hole, and same thing, he is set up for failure because we do nothing that showcases what Harris does well, Miles and Cameron are trying to take running qb's and turn them into pocket guys and it just doesn't work.

If LSU had a pocket guy, this offense would be a lot better. LSU would still fail miserably in big games, but I think the passing game would be better than it is now.
