Not if he plays like he did the first half against Georgia. It's why teams have reserve quarterbacks.

That's not true at all. Like said, I luv jj when he is on!

When he is off... he's off! He wasn't on against ga. TM7 was on, Hilliard and Blue were on, Claiborne and the D where on .... jj added nothing last game. Jj did great against wku and ol miss, and came to life in second half of ar.

I give u sins and bray. U go with who is hot. Pulling Lee against Bama was the right thing to do at the time, given clm had no plan to win with Lee. Keeping a struggling jj in and hoping ur defense can win the game for u is how ar beat is last year.

I say if jj is doing adequate, u leave him in. If he is struggling, u give him a rest for few series, bring in Lee, then bring him back to see if he has settled down ... that is, unless Lee is hot, then u stick with the hot hand.

Supposedly Lee already got a bit mouthy to Miles after he was pulled in the Bama game... and that combined with missing class is why he hasn't been playing.

If that is the case, then he deserves to sit on the sideline.

    Go JJ ...you da man!

So it's Les Miles fault Tha Lee sucks against Bama. Hmmm interesting.

I guess when Lee is starting on Sunday you can say "I told you so"

I think both JJ and JL and big time below average QB's. When the script works and their #1 WR is open they look good, other than that, JJ has some playmaking ability to to hang around longer find another WR or make a play with his legs.

Thats why I'll take JJ over JL in the Bama game

The buck always stops at the top.

With all the weapons surrounding JJ and JL, they should "look" a lot better than they do. ... but in order for that to happen, you have to run the kinds of plays that utilize those weapons.

I think it is great you prefer JJ over JL in a Bama game. I'd rather have BOTH ... with specific play sets that maximize their performance. As I recall, that was the much talked about advantage of the two QB system. JJ added a run option threat ... JL adds a short quick release pass threat. Both can throw the ball down field ok .. but not great.

But the question is not "who" do you prefer.. it's "can" you beat bama with Lee. I say you could if you had to plan to beat bama with Lee .. CLM didn't have to, so he didn't.

Problem, ... CLM didn't utilize the quick release pass threat of Lee. I don't think CLM maximized Lee's performance at all this year. How many times did we read post ... "when is CLM going to open up the play book"? There a set of pass routes that are simply hard to defend. We don't run 'em.

IMO .. basically, CLM designed his offense around JJ. Run and down field pass. When Lee was in, run was relegated to just the RBs. When JJ is in, you have the option. Lee can't be as good in a ofense designed to cater to JJ's strenghts.

Repeat ... where were out bump-out RB passes. TE bump-out short passes. Wheel routes?? All I saw this year was RB up the middle, occassional pitch, and passes down field ... with that rediculous WR screen thrown in occassionally.

Since we only see games, and the coaches see practice, and we are in the BCSNCG...

That has been my opinion as well, not that my opinion amounts to anything. But....I am a coach, and people in the stands never know what goes on behind the scenes. You never know the attitude the players bring to the table, or the chemistry that a team has with one player over another. I give credit to ALL of our players for the successes they have had this year. It has taken all of them, staff included to have such a wonderful year! So, instead of moaning & groaning over one guy who may not play as much as you like, why don't we sit back, enjoy the amazing season & support our coaches & their decisions, they have obviously carried us this far! Geaux Tigers! BEAT BAMA!!!!!!!!
