JJ is playing with confidence. It's obvious and you're 100% correct.

But like you said, Lee is one snap away from being the starter again. Which is why on that last drive that we were still throwing (the drive that drove Petrino to start pointing and cursing like a moron), I would have preferred Lee to be in there at that point. Cause in the unfortunate event that JJ DOES go down to injury, I don't want THAT time to be Lee's first meaningful reps/pass attempts.

IMO...JJ just better not get hurt. His confidence was damaged vs Bama and if rumors of him cutting class led to his benching vs WKU, Miles hasn't exactly done his part to keep Lee's head "in it" and his confidence up....that much was obvious with an HUGE lead vs Arkansas, Sr. night, late in the game, and Miles rolled out JJ again.

Again, I'm NOT bashing JJ. His play over the past few weeks should justify his status as the starter....but you still need your backup with a clear head.

He should say,"Thank you Coach for believing in me and sticking by me. Thank you Coach for giving me the opportunity to lead our team to a National Championship. Thank you Jordan Jefferson for being in a bar fight."

I'd vote for him for player of the year because without him, we most likely would be 9-3.

If Lee didn't get pulled against bama, LSU loses. The rest, as they say, is history. Jefferson gives us the best chance to win. Two more games and all the Jordan Jefferson haters will have to find something else to bitch about.

Answering the original question, what does JL say to Les at the end of the game?

"WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS, MY FRIENDS!!!!!!"

I haven't read through the entire thread but it continues to amaze me that even though this season has unfolded so perfectly with redemption for both JL and JJ, many of our fanbase continues to spin whatever negativity we can create.

I guess it's better to complain about miniscule elements of LSU football rather than kicking your dog or hitting your girl. Hopefully y'all aren't doing it all.

Geez, If Jarrett Lee were to tell Les Miles to f off, or anything like that, he needs to be taken down to the eye of the tiger and have his mf'in ass whooped. It's that simple. This is a team sport. If he wants the field so bad he had his shot to do something about it in the Alabama game, and blew it. HE F'N BLEW IT. And Les Miles knows more about this team than any of us. He is 13-0, has 1 national championship, 2 BCS bowl wins, and 3 trips to Atlanta representing the West. Why can't people just f'n enjoy what is a remarkable season, instead of crying because Jarrett F'n Lee isn't getting playing time from Ole Miss on. He still has played more than Jordan Jefferson has. He had an opportunity to keep Jefferson on the bench, all he had to do was move the football against Alabama, and he couldn't do it. HE FAILED. GAME OVER.
