What does it mean for LSU if BAMA has to vacate wins?

    I think it means that Alabama doesn't "win" these games...but neither does the other team. In this case no one wins the game. In a forfeit, the team that won not only vacates the win, the other team is credited with the win.

    The only real effect is on Alabama's and Saban's records as listed by the NCAA

    correct.
    and since we beat them all 3 years under question, it has absolutely zero effect on us.
