I hope to see crisp execution, poise and discipline. Get the substitutions and plays in on time. No boneheaded errors. To me these things point to coaching and team leadership and if we have those things with the talent this team has we'll be in the thick of another national championship race.

I hope we just win the game. I don't think it's going to be a cake-walk. ASU might not have elite Div I-A talent, but they've got their stuff together enough to able to win three straight Div I-AA national championships -- and that's in a playoff system. Any program that has their stuff together enough to be able to do that is a very real threat -- especially when they have the chance of a lifetime -- to beat the defending I-A National Champions. I imagine this is the game of their lives.

What do I want to see? I want to see LSU go out there and absolutely obliterate them, like we did to Miami, ND, and VT.

I hope to see us more or less handle Appalachian St's slippery offense. That will require disciplined play.

I hope to see zero crucial mistakes on our part and zero serious injuries.

I hope to see solid coaching and a focused team that can work through the mistakes. We have weaknesses and I hope we don't abandon those aspects of our team that we will need to call on later in the season.

I hope to see a comfortable point differential, with us on top. I really hope to see us expecting to get a pop in the mouth from the Mountaineers. I hope to see us pop them back.

My thoughts exactly. I would also hope to see LSU dominate to the point where the second and third stringers can see some action.

We will find out some of these answers but I think we also won't know some of these until we play with better competition.

I'm not trying to slap Appalachian State. I just don't think they can be as good as years past.
They won't be the same team without their all world QB.

I would like to see our ASU friends enjoy the boudin.

Annnnnnnnd all 3 QB's in play which= game is in hand.

Not responding to penalties with more penalties.

    A decent punting game.

Colt David launch a long ball, or two...

    1. A Good win- by 17 points or more
    2. A fast, aggressive, and athletic defense
    3. A dominant offensive line
    4. Less than 10 penalties
    5. Enough completed passes to keep the world guessing.
    6. Descent play from special teams.
