I had a lot of respect for you guys after we played you. Thank you for making me feel a bit more confident in my Tigers. Some of you had a better perspective of our game than we did, and you were right. Now go and kick Pac-10 butt.
I am happy when ANYONE beats USC, but I think it's great that a team that used to have no respect in the PAC-10 could come back and stand up to the conference bully! GEAUX HUSKIES! :milesmic:
Anything that...: * Propels Burnt Marshmallow into a state of sorrow because his favorite team lost * Prevents that annoying USC fight song from erupting from their band every freaking 5 minutes * Exposes bias in the polls * Has the University of Spoiled Children fans crying publicly * Dulls USC's recruiting effectiveness * Reminds everyone that USC has won only a single national championship in the last decade ...I am a big fan of! Congrats, Huskies! I knew you could do it!
Wow! A lot of nice compliments! Thank you! Did you know they call Jake the Tebow of the West? For years I've liked LSU because of their tradition and their colors. Even more so this year. I hope you make it to the NC title game. Don't forget to watch the Husky / ND game in two weeks at ND. If the Huskies can pull that one out, they've truly arrived.
Washington's win made LSU stronger instantly. Instead of hearing "LSU struggled against 0-12 Washington" we'll be hearing that a couple of disrespected teams played themselves a pretty damn good rain game and came away feeling good about themselves.
You *should* have no trouble beating ND. The big gain from that is more positive chatter from the national sports media which will help solidify UW's legitimacy.
We thought you guys were good after we played you. You don't get nearly 500 yards on someone by accident. I knew even before we played that Locker was good but he is turning into a beast! Best of luck to you all the rest of the season. On a side note, this is turning out to be an interesting season already for the usual BCSNC contenders. After only the 3rd week USC, Oklahoma, & Ohio St already have a loss and Florida didn't exactly look like a world beater yesterday. If they didn't have Tebow literally willing them to win they may have been in a bit of trouble yesterday. As much as Miles likes to run the ball do you think he will be drooling when he sees how well Tennessee ran?
