Pouring BC powder on their rear ends trying to stop the pain. They just had the lead role in broke back mountain II.
I just finished wiping my tears off the floor... Well, you guys were right and I was wrong BUT I honestly believe if we didn't miss those field goals in the first half, if the refs would have opened their eyes and called a fair game, and if we didn't kick that onside kick in the first half, it would have been a really close game. The good thing about this loss is the fact that knowshon and stafford shouldn't be going to the pros after this year and we'll have a much stronger team next year, especially with our new running back we're getting next year.
It takes a big person to admit when he is wrong...:hihi: Also, I hope they are back for next year. I hate when kids leave a year early and throw their last year in college down the drain. I do look forward to next year in Athens though...that is the one game I will probably only be able to make.
GA Dawg... Props for coming back in here today. But do you really see Stafford coming back. Definite word around Highland Park is the NFL next year for sure. And while this sort of gossip cannot be directly tied back to Matt's dad, it does make sense that he would go pro. What are you hearing different?
It's probably just wishful thinking...like us and J-Russ. Moreno will be back, though. And the O-Line will be more seasoned, having played SO MANY freshmen this year. A.J. Green will be a stud, so Massaquoi leaving won't hurt that bad. GA will be solid.
If the NFL makes the changes to the pay structure for Rookies. Expect both to leave along with every other great prospects around the nation.
I will agree with you that those refs stink in general but no matter how you slice it, you can't win a game with that many mistakes. Take the field goals and erase the onside kick, four turnovers...FOUR. That will lose you the game alone. I am happy to see the rivalry back in the game vs Georgia and I am happy that both sides kept their cool and there wasn't any silly fighting.
