LSU had this year... 1) One of the best college defenses of all time. 2) One of the best college special teams performance of all time. 3) One of the deepest college RB corps of all time. 4) The deepest quality defensive lineman corps in college history. 5) The best offensive line in LSU history. 6) The best defensive backfield in LSU history. 7) MUCH GREATER QB play than expected. 8) Outstanding coaches and coaching in all phases of the game. What else?
if only #7 could've been Above Average QB play (in critical games especially). The offensive line and RB corps saved them from being exposed more, IMO. If this one thing would have been different there would be no talk of Bama being favored or whether we are truly the best team in the country. Afterall, as you illustrated, we have everything else. Please Mett/Randall/Kiel, show that this is a thing of the past!
