More passes yes, but would you really call what you saw on the field a passing game? LSU under Miles rarely gets even the basic aspects of the passing game going. Can't develop a semi accurate QB that can read a defense or run an offense. Can't get plays off in a timely manner. Much confusion and tons of pre snap penalties. No imagination in play calling. Not able to get the ball to play makers in space. Doesn't realize that the TE is an eligible receiver. Doesnt take advantage of what the defense is giving. No in game or halftime adjustments. And the list goes on and on and on. It's not just a matter of throwing more passes.
People who go to the games are the majority that the AD looks at as the TV money is pretty much equal for all SEC schools. However, when it comes to deciding who coaches, this is NOT a democracy. It's an oligarchy of well-to-do donors that delegates administrative responsibilities to the AD.
Don't remind these guys of what they said in the past. It only riles them up. He was a terrible coach and keeping them is dragging them down, just like LSU keeping Les Miles. Stay with the script or the minions will revolt...
I think this is largely true, and yet they scream for Alleva to get fired. As if he made the decision...
#89 did catch a pass over the middle, although it was a bit behind him and the screen pass to LF7 on the last TD drive on 3rd and 11 was a thing of beauty. Baby steps?? IDK, I'm just trying to get back on the "let's get better with Miles" train.
Alleva may not have made the decision but he handled the whole process badly. And not telling Les he still had a job until after the game was totally chickenshit
Let's see, you've been away from forum whole season and know the script. Something tells me you're the fair weather pumper.
I'm not sure if they think they're the majority or they just think they're a lot smarter than everyone else. Either way they're very wrong.
because it's almost unreadable. You can't even start a thread about anything other than Les Miles being fired anymore. No wonder Red doesn't wanna come back.
