I don't see another game with 15 points on the board. If I were making a line, I'd probably put it at around 42. But, the game is a long way off.

As to some of the Bama fans saying "Bama by two or more." I don't see it, but I do understand where they are coming from with that thought. It's pretty hard as a fan of any team to forget leaving so many points off the board when we met in T-town.

You've got to get in the Red Zone 1st.

I'm putting LSU by 6. 20-14. Hopefully it's more like 40-14 so there is absolutely zero doubt, but if you guys win, they'll be crying how you guys had the home crowd, yadda yadda. The real downer is the fact that both teams have to wait over a month to play. Momentum is killed with that kind of downtime. Look at last year's NCG...both Auburn and Oregon played like crap. Play the game in two weeks, or have an 8 team playoff and not only will we have better games, but also a system that isn't laden in controversy.

    Dec 16-17, first round games: #1 LSU v #8 Kansas St, #2 Bama v #7 Boise St, #3 OK St v #6 Arkansas, #4 Stanford v #5 Oregon

Second round Dec 23-24 (1/8 winner plays 3/6 winner, 2/7 winner plays 4/5 winner)

National Title Game Monday, Jan 2nd

    A viable idea?

Can you blame bama fans for their confidence? Let's review.
    1) this jj led offense had ten yards and no first downs in the first half of the seccg.
    2) the honeybadger was the lsu offense in most of the first half. Bama will try and put him out of the game. They think they owe him and a hurt honeybadger sitting on the bench takes away 50% of this defense's big play ability. They will take a personal foul and even risk suspension of a player to take him out early.
    3) lee has been destroyed. His confidence shattered. He hasn't played a meaningful down in a month. We have no viable passing game now.
    4) the odds are always aginst a team beating another twice in a season

why should they be scared? You take away the option sweep and read option and this team is stuck in the mud. Ga showed the roadmap on just how to do it in the first qtr.

Lsu will have to play much better to beat bama than they did last Saturday. The good point is that jj usually plays very well with a month to prepare. If jj blows we lose. It's that simple. We have all but ruined lee, IMO.

Yet the fighting Updykes are too dumb to realize that we kicked field goals from the two yard line and the thirteen yard line. But they're the only ones who left points on the board.

    We won by 32.

First you underestimate how awesome our defense is. If Heisman Badger goes out we have at least 6 more big time playmakers. Do you really think one guy is equal to Mo Claibourne, Tharold Simon, Ron Brooks, Eric Reid, Sam Montgomery, Barkivious Mingo, Michael Brokers, Bennie Logan, and Brandon Taylor? Get Serious.

Second... there is no chance in hell Bama will risk 15 possibly critical yards on a vendetta.

Lee has a short memory and has shown toughness time and time again. Don't underestimate him. Besides this is just wild speculation on your point.

    No they aren't.

How'd that work out for em? I saw their big D lineman standing around with their hands on their hips midway through the second quarter. We wore em down and beat them, just like every other team we played this year.

We agree on all of this.

Downtime doesn't do that to us. Les Miles coached LSU teams have outscored their opponents 215-87 in 6 bowl games, an average 35.8 - 14.5.

If the NCG goes exactly like the SEC CG I would take it any day. Shut me down the first half then we murder them in the second.
